MindGuard Platform (Demo & Product)

Role: Lead Product Designer (UX/UI · Product Strategy · Systems)
Timeline: 2024 – Present
Tools: Figma, Base44, Illustrator, Claude

Project Summary

MindGuard is an AI-powered B2B platform that connects to existing team tools such as Slack, Jira, Asana, and Google Calendar to analyze real organizational behavior.

The platform is designed to identify systemic workflow challenges, enable AI-driven actions, and track their impact over time.

I led end-to-end product design across multiple iterations—shaping UX and UI foundations, information architecture, and a scalable design system.

The product demo illustrates the designed platform experience and evolving product direction, supporting analysis, execution, and follow-up within one coherent system.

Context & Evolution

MindGuard was developed in a fast-moving startup environment and evolved through several strategic shifts as the product’s purpose, audience, and value proposition became more defined.

As the platform matured, the focus moved beyond surface-level productivity signals toward deeper organizational challenges—such as structural inefficiencies, execution gaps, misalignment between goals and reality, and hidden friction across teams and tools.

My role was to continuously translate these shifts into a clear and usable product experience—restructuring flows, redefining hierarchies, and adapting the system to support increasing depth without overwhelming users.

Designing an Evolving Product

MindGuard is being developed iteratively in parallel to ongoing backend and infrastructure work.

The product demo was designed to articulate the platform’s evolving direction—enabling alignment around complex flows, AI-driven actions, and long-term system behavior.

This approach allowed the team to refine product thinking, validate structure, and communicate value while the system continues to mature.

Challenge

  • Systemic complexity: analyze real behavior across multiple tools without relying on manual input

  • Beyond insights: move from understanding problems toward enabling meaningful change through product design

  • Dual audiences: managers require visibility and decision support, while teams need clarity, transparency, and emotional calm

  • Scalable structure: design a system that can evolve as new problem spaces, actions, and AI capabilities are introduced

Process

  • Defined user archetypes and clarified what each audience must understand and act on first

  • Iterated on information architecture to support a clear loop: detection → action → measurement

  • Designed modular dashboards and UI components (cards, states, filters, data modules) to support increasing complexity

  • Prototyped flows where insights can lead to AI-driven actions and interventions

  • Designed demo experiences that communicate not just what the system detects, but how it supports execution and improvement over time

  • Worked closely with stakeholders to ensure UX decisions aligned with evolving product strategy

Solution

A modular, manager-first platform designed to transform fragmented team data into a continuous execution loop—detecting systemic workflow challenges, enabling AI-driven actions, and supporting teams in tracking their impact over time.

The experience balances depth and clarity—allowing managers to understand complex organizational patterns while keeping the interface calm, structured, and approachable.

Results & Impact

  • A coherent product experience aligned with evolving strategy and expanding problem space

  • Clearer articulation of value during demos and internal discussions

  • Improved usability through repeated simplification and restructuring

  • A scalable UX/UI system that supports future growth without rethinking the entire product

My Contribution

Product UX/UI design, product strategy collaboration, information architecture, interaction design, UI system and components, demo experience design, stakeholder alignment, and design–engineering handoff.

Key Takeaways

Designing AI-powered organizational systems is not about visualizing more data—it’s about enabling change.
Clear structure, calm UX, and a closed execution loop are essential for adoption in complex B2B products.
